Description

Here is a Lionel 6-8206 O Gauge New York Central Diecast 4-6-4 Small Hudson Powered Steam Locomotive and Tender from 1972-75. This was the first large steam locomotive produced during the MPC era. It features smoke, Sound of Steam, an electronic whistle, headlight, and the engine has a diecast body. A Whistle control is not included.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item was tested and the lights work and the tender whistles it try’s to run but will not and is being sold as is. The water scoop comes out and off easily. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. The locomotive and tender show rust throughout various sections of the chassis and trucks. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
