This is a 1958 issue Lionel 1590 Steam Freight Train Set complete with #249 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive with can motor, 250T Tender (Pennsylvania) Metal Motor, #6014 Bosco Box Car (red), #6151 Flat Car w/Lionel Ranch Patrol Truck, #6112 Gondola w/ 3 removeable cannisters, and a #6017 Caboose. Everything features durable plastic construction, plastic trucks, plastic operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels & axles. The #6151 car features metal construction.

This set has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The wheels and rolling pickups show signs of average use. There are rub marks, a few scratches, and spots of surface rust on the shells and chassis. The overall appearance of each item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included. Some of the individual boxes are included, but not all of them. The locomotive has been tested and was not functional.
