Here is a Lionel 2423 Vintage O Lionel Lines Hillside Lighted Observation Car with Gray Roof from 1950-51. This is the early version with window striping and a gray roof later 2423s were all silver]. The 2423 Hillside Observation Passenger car is part of the 2421, 2422 and 2423 passenger car set of the early to mid 1950s. This car is illuminated and features one operating coupler and silhouettes in the windows.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This item shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This item shows rust on the chassis and couplers. The window inserts are scratched and dirty. The lettering on this item is partially faded. One of the red lights is pushed inside the shell. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
