Description

Here is a Lionel 6-1384 Southern Express Set. This set includes a Southern 2-4-0 Steam Locomotive, Southern Air-Whistle Tender, Canadian National 2-Bay Open Hopper, Republic Steel Gondola with canister load, Union Pacific Flatcar with Stakes, Southern Caboose, 4150 Transformer, 90-Degree O27 Crossover, (4) sections of 10.25 inch O27 straight track, and (12) O-27 curved track sections. The locomotive features plastic construction with a motor, operating head lamp, metal side rods, metal wheels and axles. The tender and freight cars feature plastic construction with plastic trucks, fixed knuckle couplers, and metal axles. The tender also features metal wheels while the freight cars feature plastic wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-9: Factory New based on visual appearance. The outside box has been opened to check contents but the interior foam packaging is still factory sealed. There are some small rips in the plastic liner, it has caused moisture to get inside and some of the wheels of the units have begun to tarnish as a result. It appears part of the locomotive has been scuffed as a result of the previous owner storing this item. The instruction manual is included. The original box is included.
