Description

Here is a Lionel 23787 Operating Log Loader from 1957-1960. With this accessory you load the logs into the loader and then put a siding along side it with an empty log car or gondola. When you turn on the loader it picks up one log at a time and carries it across the platform and loads it into your awaiting car to transport it to your sawmill for further work. The logs, controller, and operator figure are not included.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item shows scratches and paint loss in various areas of the body, detail pieces, and base. this item shows spots of rust on various metal hardware pieces. Several of the rails and ladder pieces are bent. This item did not work when tested and is being sold as is. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
