This powered steam locomotive features a motor, reverse unit, light, reverse unit, smoke unit, metal side rods, and metal wheels. The tender features metal construction, a plastic link coupler, tinplate trucks with journals, and metal and plastic wheels.
Introduced in its prototype form in the late 19th century, the 4-6-2 would take the world by storm at the turn of the 20th century, being seen as one of the biggest innovation in the history of locomotives — the 4-6-2 would quickly finds its place in rail-yards across the world. Heralded for its ability to haul passengers, the 4-6-2 was a versatile model hauling freight and coal as well, with tank variants being introduced later during the 20th century. Traveling at speeds upwards of 100mph the 4-6-2 was featured on rail-ways ranging from Argentina to Egypt, and all the way to the far East in China!
