This is an American Flyer 322 Vintage S NYC 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Locomotive & Tender. The locomotive features diecast metal construction, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The tender features diecast metal construction, smoke unit, diecast metal trucks, metal/plastic wheels and metal axles.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. These items show scratches, dents, and paint loss in various areas of the shells and chassis. These items show spots of rust on the chassis and metal detail pieces. The rails on these items are bent. The lettering on these items is partially faded.
