Description

This is an American Flyer 322AC 4-6-4 New York Central Hudson Steam Locomotive and Tender from 1949-50. The locomotive features diecast metal construction, a smoke stack, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, a decorative bell, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The tender features diecast metal construction, link coupler, metal wheels and axles.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!

These items have been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. These items show scratches, scrapes, dents, and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. These items show spots of rust on the chassis and wheel sets. The rails on these items are bent. The cords connecting the items are frayed.
