Description

This is an American Flyer 499 Vintage S New Haven Powered Electric Locomotive from 1956-57. Features include working pantographs, a powerful motor, a reverse unit, an operating light, decorative horns, die-cats metal trucks, operating metal knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. It measures approximately 14″ inches in length. Please see my pictures for additional features.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item shows scratches, scrapes, and paint loss in various areas of the shell and chassis. This item shows spots of rust on the chassis and metal hardware pieces. The pantographs do not sit flush with the roof. The decals are faded and chipped. This item did not run when tested and is being sold as is. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included. The box shows pen markings on it. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Very Good.
