Description

This is an American Flyer 499 Vintage S New Haven Powered Electric Locomotive from 1956-57. Features include working pantographs, a powerful motor, a reverse unit, an operating light, decorative horns, die-cats metal trucks, operating metal knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. It measures approximately 14″ inches in length. Please see my pictures for additional features.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item was tested and is not functional. The latch on one of the pantographs is not working. The wheels show average run-time. This item shows signs of previous use and storage. This item has scratches, rust, scuffs, marks and paint loss throughout. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The instruction manual is not included.
