Each car features diecast metal trucks, metal wheels and axles, and operating knuckle couplers.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The powered locomotive has been tested and runs properly. There are scratches, scuffs & nicks along the bodies of the cars. The observation car has a loose light cover but is still included. The underside of the cars in this set show heavy signs of wear, scratches. The track included shows heavy signs of tarnishing, and rust from previous use. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual included. The original set box is included along with individual item boxes, however all boxes show signs of heavy rips, tears, wear, discoloration, and some have written notations.
