Features include heavy-duty can motor, diecast chassis (powered on both axles), diecast metal side rods and counterweights, LED headlight (constant lighting), removable hood for access to three-position polarity switch for conformance to NMRA standards or large scale model railroading practices, with a center off position, smoke generator with on/off switch, convenient lubrication port located on underside, operating doors, metal handrails and detail parts, full cab interior with gauges, controls, brake stand, and seat, knuckle couplers.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The locomotive has small nicks and scratches throughout various sections of the shell. The bottom front and back railings are missing. The step up ladders are slightly bent. A layer of shelf dust has settled onto the shell. The wheels show frequent run-time.
