The locomotive features plastic construction, a smoke stack, an operating headlight, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The freight cars feature plastic construction, plastic trucks, latch couplers, plastic wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. There are multiple trim parts broke off from various different cars. The cover of the lamp post has been bent and damaged. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
