Description

This is a Lionel 205 Missouri Pacific Alco AA Diesel Locomotive Set from 1957-58. The 205 Missouri Pacific was introduced by Lionel in 1957 along with several other ‘new’ style Alcos. The 205 — which only came as a AA unit combination — is an excellent running locomotive. However, these later-style Alcos clearly lacked the quality, detail and durability of the earlier Alcos. Included is a powered A unit and non-powered A unit. Features include a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, decorative horns, plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are nicks and surface scratches on the shell and chassis. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The gears have some leftover grease and grease stains. The wheels show heavy run time.
