This is a Lionel 2056 Vintage O Gauge 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive W/ 2046W Tender from 1952. This is a Korean War hybrid using a Berkshire boiler casting on a Hudson wheel arrangement. Features include a 3-position E-unit, an operating smoke unit and an operating headlight. A 2046W tender is included and features diecast trucks, operating rear knuckle coupler, whistle, and metal wheels.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. This item appears to have been run, and displays overall signs of previous heavy use and storage. The drive rods are heavily discolored. There are nicks and scratches on the shell and chassis of this item. The tender has spots of red paint on the shell. There is a chip in the shell of the tender. There are various spots of paint loss on the locomotive and tender. The chassis and other metal parts show spots of rust and discoloration. The wheels show signs of heavy run-time.
