Description

This is a Lionel 227 Vintage O Canadian National Alco A Powered Diesel Locomotive – RARE! from 1960. A painted GREEN body would have the front coupler pocket filled in and was mounted on a sheet metal frame that had a solid non-operating rear coupler. There is no reverse on this engine and it was not equipped with Magnetraction. Instead, Lionel would put a weight in this diesel to give it some traction. This is a 1960 only model and not very common.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are some nicks and scratches present on this item. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The instruction manual is not included.
