Here is a Lionel 2343 Vintage O Gauge Santa Fe F3 AA Diesel Locomotive Set. One of the icons of the Post-war Era, the 2343 improved upon the original 2333 with the addition of Magnetraction The powered unit features dual motors, a remote activated operating horn, an operating headlight, illuminated number boards and cab, diecast metal frame and trucks, a diecast operating coupler on the front and a fixed diecast coupler on the rear. The non-powered unit features an operating light, a diecast frame, trucks, metal wheels and axles. It matches the 2343C B Unit with a screen top.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. The powered locomotive is missing the rear motor, reversing unit, horn, and horn relay. The powered locomotive’s rear truck ahs been replaced with a non-powered truck. The powered locomotive’s motor has been wired to only run forward. The non-powered locomotive’s shell does not match the chassis and is completely detached. Both units show heavily flaked nose decals. Both units show yellowed port-hole windows. Both locomotives show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. Both locomotives show rust throughout various sections of the chassis and trucks. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included for both items, but both boxes are heavily damaged. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Good.
