Description

This is a Lionel 262 Prewar 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive and Tender from 1931-32. The locomotive features a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, a smoke stack, a decorative bell, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The tender features metal construction, a latch type coupler, tinplate trucks with journals, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. This item functioned when tested however there was significant stuttering and stopping. There are severe scratches, scuffs, and spots of rusting across the surface of this item. There is significant discoloration and spots of paint loss across the body of this item. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. There are minor cracks and breaks across this item. Numerous small detail pieces are missing from this item.
