Description

Here is a Lionel 313 Vintage O Silver Operating Bascule Bridge. The bridge raises and lowers by remote activation. The bridge raises up about 12 inches and then goes back down and closes all in one sequence. You can use this bridge across a river which is where you will see the real ones, or you could also be quite imaginative and set this up where another train had to go under it. The bridge has contacts set up so that when it raises, the power to the track in front and behind this are cut-off so you can’t run your trains into the river. The bridge came with the steelwork being painted either silver and gray. The prewar versions of this from 1941-42 were painted gray because silver paint was not available. This is the more common silver version.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There is paint loss on the frame and bridge. There is rust on the track and frame. The house walls are bent. The house is missing paint. The box is severely damaged. The box has been repaired with tape and a additional piece of cardboard. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
