This is a Lionel 3540 Vintage O Gauge Operating Radar Car from 1959-60. It features a radar antenna that rotates as the car goes around the track and a lighted radar console screen being watched by an attentive seated technician. This car features plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This car shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This car shows spots of surface rust on the wheels and axles. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included.
