Here is a Lionel 3619 Vintage O Operating Helicopter Reconnaissance Car from 1962-64. This car features a launching mechanism inside the car. Here is how this car works – you wind up the launch mechanism, then place the helicopter on it, push the launcher mechanism down in the car and close the roof halves. Then you can remotely launch the helicopter when placed over a remote control track. The roof opens, and the mechanism slowly rises from inside the car, and then when the correct height is reached, the helicopter launches. This car features plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The wheels show average run-time.
