This is a Lionel 51 Vintage O Navy Yard Turbine Powered Diesel Switcher #51 from 1956-57. This is one of the classic motorized units from the Postwar Era. It features an open frame motor, a 3-position e-unit, a diecast frame, a decorative bell, diecast trucks, and operating couplers. It can pull 2 or 3 cars.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This locomotive shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. There is also some rust on the chassis, pickups, couplers, railings and trucks. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
