Lionel ALCo PA A-A sets come fully equipped with the Magne-Traction track gripping system and an Odyssey System ON/OFF switch. Riding on authentically detailed A1A trucks, the Lionel PA A-A locomotive sets accurately replicate the American Locomotive Companys first and most famous attempt at passenger diesel power. Each scale-sized model features many separately applied details including see-through screens, dynamic brake openings, and pivoting diaphragms on the rear doors. The Lionel New Haven PA locomotives represent the only two units ever dressed in the pure black-white-vermilion McGinnis livery. Matching B-units are available separately for each set. Features include one powered and one non-powered unit, trainMaster Command Control equippedable to run in Command Control Mode or in Conventional Transformer Control Mode, odyssey system for speed control with ON/OFF switch, railSounds sound system with CrewTalk communication and TowerCom announcements, directional lighting including LED headlights, front electroCouplers on each A-unit, dual powerful maintenance-free motors with momentum flywheels, magne-traction track gripping system, traction tires, fan-driven smoke in both A-units, diecast metal trucks, pilots and fuel tanks, metal frames, pivoting rear vestibules, operating radiator fans, opening doors, separately applied metal details, illuminated number boards, illuminated cab interior, engineer and fireman figures.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-8: Like New. This item appears to have been run sparingly, and displays overall signs of very light previous use. The original paint is in great shape, and the rest of the unit displays a like-new overall finish. The instruction manual is included. The original box is included.
