Description

This is a Lionel 6-18049 O Gauge Norfolk & Western “J” 4-8-4 Steam Locomotive #600 made in 1996. The locomotive features include a pullmor motor, magne traction, trainmaster command equipped, weathered appearance and diecast metal body.

First introduced in the early 20th century, the 4-8-4 to rail yards by storm primarily hauling coal and other forms of freight across state lines in the US and rail-ways in various other countries. While later models would improve on the 4-8-4’s limitation, this locomotive still made its place in history as a pioneer of 20th century rail-road industry, and is featured in some museums today as a testament to how far the industry has truly come!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning as this locomotive has a light layer of dust. The paint has faded quite a bit. This item is in excellent overall condition. This item shows some signs of light previous use. The wheels show average run-time and they also show a bit of rust.
