Here is a Lionel 19831 Operating Generator Car Set from 1997. This is a reissue of the Postwar Era 3530 generator car. You turn it on by opening one of the doors which closes a switch to allow current from the rails to illuminate the remote seachlight and it also activates a light and fan inside the car to simulate the light and noise the generator would make in a real car like this. This car is missing the telephone pole accessory
