Description

Here is a Lionel 6-24174 Operating Icing Station and Operating car set. The icing station loads small clear plastic ice cubes into specially designed refrigerator cars. You manually load the 10 ice cubes with the loading chute and then position the reefer car that has a specially designed roof ice hatch so when the little ice man pushes the cube with his paddle, the roof hatch opens on the car allowing the ice cube to drop in to keep that load of fruit in the reefer fresh! It is 11 inches long x 4 inches wide x 8 inches tall. The car has American Refrigerator Transit markings.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are nicks and scratches on the surface of the ice platform, base, figure and shell of the car.
