This popular Lionel F3 diesel locomotive comes decorated in the Union Pacific and Erie Lackawanna paint schemes. These sets are equipped with an Odyssey System ON/OFF switch and the exclusive Magne-Traction track gripping system. Matching powered F3 B-units are available in each livery. Features one powered F3 A-unit, one non-powered F3 B-unit, one non-powered F3 A-unit, TrainMaster Command Control equippedable to run in Command Control Mode or in Conventional Transformer Control Mode, Odyssey System for speed control with ON/OFF switch, RailSounds 5.0 sound system with new intelligible CrewTalk dialog, more TowerCom announcements and eight diesel RPM levels, directional lighting including LED headlights and back-up lights, ElectroCouplers on the front of each A-unit and the rear of the B-unit, dual powerful maintenance-free motors with momentum flywheels, Magne-Traction track gripping system, traction tires, fan-driven smoke unit in both the powered and non-powered A-units, diecast metal trucks, pilots and fuel tanks, diecast metal frames, separately applied metal details, separately applied metal handrails and screens, pivoting diaphragms on rear, opening doors, accurate builders plates, lighted number boards, illuminated cab interior, engineer and fireman figures. It operates on an O-31 minimum curve and the complete set measures 39 inches long.

These items have been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The items appear to have been run, and displays overall signs of light previous use. There are spots of paint loss and scratches on the shell and chassis of the items. There appears to be pitting on parts of the chassis. The wheels show signs of average run-time. The original paint is in great shape, and each unit displays excellent overall finish. The overall appearance of each item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
