Description

Here is a Lionel 6-5484 O Gauge TCA 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive & Tender #5484. This engine was especially made for the Train Collectors Association and features a headlight, smoke, sound of steam and whistle. Both the engine and tender are diecast metal.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The locomotive and tender have spots of paint rash throughout various sections of the shell. The locomotive has nicks and scratches throughout the whole shell and chassis. The gears and rolling pickups have excess grease. The tender trunks have scratches throughout them.
