Here is a Lionel 6-8476 Train Collectors Association (TCA) 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive and Tender #5484 from 1985. This engine was made especially for the TCA Special, a set of matching passenger cars made especially for the national CA conventions of the 1980s. This engine features Diecast construction, smoke, and the mighty sound of steam (kind of a prehistoric RailSounds).The tender features diecast metal trucks, an operating knuckle coupler, and metal wheels and axles. Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
