Here is a Lionel 6-8702 O Gauge Southern Crescent 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive & Tender #8702. The locomotive features Type III AC 6-wheel motor with Magnetraction, 3-position E-unit, smoke, a headlight, metal hand railing, metal wheels and axles. The streamlined tender has Sound of Steam, Symington Wayne plastic trucks, a fixed coupler, and metal wheels and axles.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. The locomotive and tender show rust throughout various sections of the chassis and trucks. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The instruction manual is not included.
