This is a Lionel 6-9172 O Gauge Penn Central Lighted Caboose #9172 from 1976-77. This caboose features interior illumination, plastic trucks, an operating knuckle coupler, metal wheels and axels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This item appears to have been run, and displays overall signs of light previous use. There are spots of paint loss and scratches on the shell and chassis of this item. The wheels show signs of average run-time. The original paint is in great shape, and the unit displays excellent overall finish. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The instruction manual is not included.
