Description

Here is a Lionel 6464-500 O MPC Timken Boxcar. After General Mills took over Lionel and started the MPC era, an Ohio train dealer asked Lionel to make a run of boxcars similar to the Postwar-Era 6464-500 Timken. These cars are identical to the Postwar cars except for the lack of a white stripe on the side and a few minor body mold differences. Reportedly only 500 of these were made and they are quite hard to find.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The guide rails have spot of surface rust. The car has scuff marks and scratches throughout various sections of the shell. The underside chassis has spots of surface rust throughout various sections. The trunks have scratches, scuff marks and spots of discoloration throughout them. The knuckle couplers show signs of frequent use. The wheels show average run-time.
