This is a Lionel 671 Vintage O 6-8-6 Diecast Steam Turbine Locomotive w/671W Tender from 1946-49. This classic steam locomotive features diecast metal construction, a worm drive motor, an operating smoke unit, an operating headlight, a 3 position forward-neutral-reverse E-unit, metal side rods and metal wheels. The 671 was a mainstay of Lionels line in the late 1940s.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-4: Fair based on visual appearance. The previous owner used Sharpie to cover up various spots of paint loss. This item appears to have been run, and displays overall signs of previous heavy use and storage. There are nicks and scratches on the shell and chassis of this item. The whistle piece on the chassis appears to have a piece that looks melted. There are various spots of paint loss on the locomotive and tender. The chassis and other metal parts show spots of rust and discoloration. The wheels show signs of moderate run-time. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The instruction manual is not included.
