Here is a Lionel 6800 Vintage O Flatcar with Black over Yellow Airplane from 1957-60. The 6800 Airplane Car is an attractive and popular freight car and was produced for four years in the late 1950s. Like most postwar Lionel flatcars with loads, the value with this freight car is the airplane. Locating the flatcar is easy, but locating one with an airplane is difficult. The plane has folding wings. It features a plastic body construction, plastic trucks with metal wheels, and operating knuckle couplers.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are god light nicks and scratches present on this item. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The instruction manual is not included.
