Here is a Lionel 6800 Vintage O Flatcar with Yellow over Black Airplane from 1957-60. The yellow over black version is quite a bit harder to find than the more common black over yellow version. The 6800 Airplane Car is an attractive and popular freight car and was produced for four years in the late 1950s. Like most postwar Lionel flatcars with loads, the value with this freight car is the airplane. Locating the flatcar is easy, but locating a complete and undamaged airplane is difficult. The plane has folding wings. The car has diecast trucks and operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light rub marks and scratches on the surface of this car and airplane. The original box is included but is heavily damaged. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Excellent.
