The 736 locomotive was a mainstay of Lionel’s line for much of the Postwar Era and was included in numerous top of the line sets. This steam locomotive features for the locomotive include diecast metal construction, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating smoke unit, a decorative bell, metal side rods, and metal wheels and axles. The 2046W tender features an operating whistle, a plastic body, plastic truck sides, one diecast operating coupler, and metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are nicks and scratches on the shell and chassis of this item. There are various spots of paint loss on the locomotive and tender. The chassis and other metal parts show spots of discoloration. The wheels show signs of moderate run-time.
