Description

Here is a Lionel VW 150 Watt Vintage O 4 Train Transformer with Whistle. The VW is the same as Lionel’s ZW transformer, except it’s output is 150 Watts, versus the ZW’s 275 Watts. It has controls to operate four trains, circuit breaker and whistle controllers (there are only two whistle controllers, and they are wired to the outer control arms). You can also use the two inner controllers for accessory variable voltages.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There is a little rust and discoloration to some of the item. There are scratches and marks on the transformer from age and use. The insulation on the wiring is brittle and breaking off. The lockons are rusted. All the connectors for the wires are present. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
