This is an MTH 30-2162-1 MTA 4-Car Silver Subway Passenger Set with Protosound from 1999. Included is a #4824, a #4825, a #4904 and a #4905. Features include diecast trucks, detailed interiors, interior illumination, 2 precision flywheel equipped motors in the powered unit and 3 non-powered cars, optionally equipped with protosound digital sound and train control featuring squeaking brakes, passenger sound proto effects sounds and a remotely controlled protocoupler.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. All cars have paint loss throughout various sections of the knuckle couplers. The car 4825 has nicks and signs of paint loss on the trunks. The car 4904 is missing a small number plate. The car 4825 is missing a small number plate. This locomotive does not include DCS (Digital Command System) features because it has ProtoSound 1.0. Only locomotives with ProtoSound 2.0 and ProtoSound 3.0 include DCS functions.
