Features include 2 precision flywheel equipped motors, a DCRU electronic reverse unit by QSI, operating diecast metal couplers and optionally equipped with protosound, squeaking brakes and freight yard sounds.
This locomotive does not include DCS (Digital Command System) features because it has Proto Sound 1.0. Only locomotives with Proto Sound 2.0 and Proto-Sound 3.0 include DCS functions.
