Description
This is a Lionel 2338 Milwaukee Road Powered GP-7 Diesel Locomotive from 1955. This is the rare version with the solid orange strip that goes all around the body and is rare and extremely hard to find. Features include a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, an operating horn, diecast metal trucks, operating metal knuckle couplers and metal wheels.
Type I had bodies molded of translucent orange plastic. The orange band that circled the body was merely left unpainted, and extended across the locomotive’s cab.
