Here is a Lionel 1577 Liberty Special Set from 1975. This set features a 8570 Red-White and Blue Alco Diesel Locomotive, 3 9700 Series Boxcars, a 9076 We the People Caboose. The Diesel Locomotive has a 2-position reverse unit. Additional features include: plastic trucks, plastic knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles, 8 sections of curved track, 2 sections of straight track and a transformer. The boxcars all feature different important events in American history.

This set has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The wheels and rolling pickups show signs of average use. There are rub marks, nicks, a few scratches, and spots of surface rust on the shells, chassis, and track sections.
