Description

This is a Lionel 494 Rotating Tinplate Beacon Tower from 1954-66. This one is the unpainted aluminum version. The 494 has a vibrator motor that turns the beacon. It measures 12 inches tall x 5 inches long x 5 inches wide.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The base has rust on the edged. There is scuffs and scratches on the base and frame. The light has a yellow tint on the metal. There is rust on the walkway on the top. There is rust on the connectors. The light works but does not rotate. The box has tape on the edges. The box has “Sold Golem” written on the side. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included.
