This is a Williams 23001 O Gauge Pennsylvania ALCO RS3 Conventional 3-Rail Diesel Loco #8604. Introduced in 1950, the all-purpose, 1600-horsepower RS-3 diesel locomotive had the stamina and strength for freight and passenger service yet was agile enough for yard work. With its rugged, dependable design, its no wonder that many of these versatile RS-3 locomotives are still working today on short lines, tourist lines, and freight lines. Our model comes ready to go to work with True Blast Plus 16-bit polyphonic sound including prime mover, horn, and bell.

There are nicks and scratches on the shell and chassis of this item. The wheels and electrical couplers show signs of average run-time. The original paint is in great shape, and the unit displays excellent overall finish. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The instruction manual is not included.
